Nice Start to the Week
I had a quiet Mother’s day, heard from all my kids and got flowers which I will probably enjoy for quite a few more days.
I did get out and walk this morning. It feels a little like the mountains here in the foothills of Banning.
My class for the Piecmakers quilt group went quite well and I really appreciate Dianne Thayer setting it all up. I introduced a new project, The Cathedral Window Sampler. The ladies did very well! So, it’s time to get to work on tomorrow’s Twilt!

I like the latest twilt. It nicely showcases your Cathedral Windows. Nice fabrics too. 🙂

All of us at the Piecemakers quilt group just want to say thank you for a wonderful workshop. We had a great time and enjoyed learning new techniques. We met last night and many shared their project from the workshop. Most of all everyone agreed that you made the day go smoothly and we just adore you. Thanks again! Looking forward to future workshops.

Shelley,
The workshop you did for our Piecemakers group was wonderful! I always wanted to know how to do the cathedral window so this was just great. You are an excellent teacher–very good directions. I finished my sampler and love it. Thanks so much!
I really like the latest starlit twilt, too.

Hi Shelley!
Thank you so much for holding the workshop for our Piecemakers group. We had a great time and learned a lot. You are a wonderful teacher and a talented designer. I love the sampler. I enjoyed taking the “Hugs and Kisses” class from you earlier this year, and this workshop was a fabulous bonus. I also love your blog and the twilts. What fun!
Thanks for sharing your knowledge, skills, and talents, I hope you will consider holding another workshop with the Piecemakers in the future! In the meantime, happy twilting!

What a great little sampler quilt – I would love to see the students’ work! Maybe they would send you photos?

Hi Shelley,
I can’t thank you enough for teaching us this new technique in quilting. It was challenging but a lot of fun and exciting when I saw how it turned out. I have gotten so many compliments. Everyone seems to think I am so talented but it is only because you were such a great teacher and your instructions led me through every step to completion.
Hopefully you will be able to join the Piecemakers again to show us more techniques.
Thank you,
Carol
